My two favorite experts have offered different opinions on this hand. Time for more opinions!
You hold:
6 AK43 KJT8732 6
Playing a big club system, your partner has shown 11-15hcp, exactly 4 spades, and 5+ clubs. Pard can't be 4405 or 4315 on the auction you've had. The opponents are silent.
So, playing teams, and knowing what you know of your partner's hand, do you have game forcing or merely invitational values? Where do you want to play this hand?

Well, it's possible that partner is aceless, but not likely (imo), so 5D should be reasonable. My fear would be missing a slam, in fact it's possible that Partner has S Axxx, H xx, D AQ, C Axxxx - in which case 7D is lay down.
you have a five-loser hand, thus game-forcing opposite pard's at least 11. With the opponents silent, has the auction gone 2C opener by pard, 2D by you, 2S by pard? Then what? If pard is guaranteed to have at least two Diamonds, then you want to play the hand in Diamonds. Make the bid that shows game-forcing values, and learn more by pard's forced next bid.
Pard is not guaranteed to have two diamonds; but he is guaranteed to have fewer than 3 hearts. 4216 struck me as the most likely shape, but that was just an inclination.
Five losers will still be five losers opposite pard's KQxx xx x KQJxxx -- a very possible holding.
Could be a laydown grand, could be your last making spot is 2D. Thus the problem.
i'm inclined to make an invitational diamond bid if i have it available. this hand doesn't have to be a misfit, but some warning signs are there! if partner has the hand in russ's example (i think it needs a stiff heart and a 3rd diamond tho to avoid going down on a trump lead), i would argue that reaching 6 or 7 diamonds isn't impossible from here. maybe you should have the agreement that after the one-suited invitational bid (again assuming you have it), all bids, including 4 diamonds, are forcing to game. it could go 2c-2d-2s-3d*-4d-4h... *=1 suited invitation
Another question - what are your teammates' opponents' bidding habits? Are they aggressive or passive? If they are a known entity, perhaps your best bet is to try to emulate them for a push...
Not knowing that, I'd still probably bid 5D. I'd rather give up imps making a reasonable, aggressive bid than giving up imps making a passive bid. And I'd be afraid of partner passing out 4D with something like S QJxx H Q D Ax C Qxxxxx.
invitational diamond values, doesn't seem very close to me
Game forcing - I'll take my chances in 5D, and cooperate with partner if he/she suddenly is interested in slam
If pard has opened Precision 2C to begin with, this is where methods really help.
I used to play that 2C-2D-2M-2NT was forcing, where responses were:
3C - 6 clubs. Now 3D asks for shortage: 3H - low shortage, 3S - high shortage, 3NT - both shortages
3D - (41)-3-5 exactly. The stiff is the asking bid about controls, and infers a mild club slam try.
3M - 6430 exactly, with three diamonds
3oM - fragment, inferring stiff/void in diamonds
3NT 2254 of course
Now, if, like I play currently, you opened a canape 1S, this is a hard problem. Without a 2C artificial G/F you're forced into a pushy 2D force, or a forcing NT and get buried with, let's say, 3C, showing the 4-6. I'll bid 2D forcing and bite the bullet.
